California Lachlan

California Leslie Robin Lachlan was born in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada, to parents Linda and Thomas Robroy Neal. Her mother, now retired, worked as a stenographer for a London, Ontario hospital. Her father was a former military man who later worked for the Ford Motor Company for over 30 years. She has an older sister Leanna Lynn Marie and an older brother Robroy Alan. In her younger years Cali was a tomboy with athletic aspirations; a competitive runner, and swimmer, she also enjoyed playing tennis, riding horses and studied martial arts for several years. In her early 20's she wanted to join the military and fly fighter jets and consequently attended The University of Western Ontario to study physics and Applied Mathematics before realizing this was not her true passion. While on contract work for a company in Victoria, British Columbia, Cali was introduced to the world of animation voice over. She later moved to Vancouver, British Columbia to pursue both voice work and acting before eventually returning to her home province of Ontario and making Toronto her home base.
