Franchesca Mary Soto González (born December 20, 1989) is a Puerto Rican actress, sociologist and psychologist. Franchesca is know for her roles on television and movies like Back to the Beginning (2015), Mi abuelo se quiere casar and 23 Horas. She has participated in a music videos like D.OZi - Ganas De Vivir ft. Ken - Y [Official Video]. Also she has a featuring in the TV program Estos Dos transmitted by Telemundo Puerto Rico. She has a participation in the play De Psiquiatría. She participated in a few TV commercials like Mitsubishi, Claro Wireless, Coors, etc. Franchesca is native from the town of Aguadilla in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. She was raised in the town of Moca, P.R. where she lived until she was 22 years old. From an early age she participated in productions highlighting family messages, social values. Her passion for community service takes her to the social sciences and because her passion is to serve others she decided to study sociology. In 2007 she entered the University of Puerto Rico Aguadilla Campus, where curiously a film director approaches her and offers her a leading role in the feature film Tito Caillo, where she had her first experience as an actress in a Puerto Rican film. In 2009 she transferred to the Colegio of Mayagüez (UPRM) where she continued her studies in sociology. In the course of her baccalaureate she became a mother of a beautiful girl whom she named Amanda Isabelle. This is an example of inspiration for other women that being a young mother is not an obstacle to achieves goals and life purpose. As part of her study program in sociology she had the opportunity to participate in various social research studies, among them: quantitative studies as field qualitative among others. She conducted research on child exploitation in Latin America, among other research studies of great importance for social welfare. She was graduated with honors from the University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez Campus where she obtained her bachelor's degree in sociology; being selected to be part of the international Golden Key honor society, where only 15% of the students with the highest average of their academic program are selected. Franchesca Soto continued studies in the fine arts where she made certifications in the field of acting for cinema and theater. This leads her to participate in television commercials, local TV shows, as a presenter, local and international cinema. She considers herself an eternal student, decided to continue her studies in the area of social sciences and communications in which she completed a master's degree in psychology with specialization in counseling from the University of Turabo (now Universidad Ana G. Méndez). Because Franchesca showed physical aptitude since childhood she set new goals and decided to continue education studies in the sport psychology program at the Carlos Albizu University for which she holds a certification in sports psychology as well as a certification in basic commercial speech from the Universidad Sagrado Corazón to help clients with problems of public presentations, speeches and communication. Being a social communicator one of her great desires and passion is to be a spokesperson for others and thus contribute to a better social structure.
