Romain Royet is an internationally acclaimed actor and screenwriter from Paris, France. As a child and teenager, he was always fascinated with films and acting. Romain's parents were concerned about his future and wanted him to get a business degree before he took the risk of making the "Arts" a career. He took his parents advice and graduated from HEC Paris, Europe's leading Management school, where he majored in media arts and creation. After graduating, Romain could now focus on his passion for acting. He enrolled in Paris most renowned acting school, Le Cours Florent. Romain also studied at Actors Studio Paris, with renowned acting teacher Joël Bui. During his time at the studio, Romain Royet worked on stage, performing stand up shows with his duo partner, Julien Rosburger. They worked in numerous parisian theaters such as: the famous Théâtre Trévise, the Café de Paris and the Point Virgule. Romain and Julien continued to play in the comedic show "L'Esquizo", which Romain wrote and gained the duo a solid reputation with a one year long run at Théâtre Nout. In the meantime, Romain Royet starred in various short films including "Gone", "Brotherdhood", "Adultereve.com", "I am an encounter" and "Frequence", for which he was nominated as Best Leading Actor at the 2014 Madrid International Film Festival. Romain continued to enrich his acting skills learning the Meisner technique, studying with international acting coach Charles Weinstein. Romain Royet also starred in the famous French Television series "Petits Secrets En Famille", which aired on TF1, France's leading Television Channel, in February 2016. And most recently, he played in "L'invitation", a popular and critically acclaimed feature film, directed by Michaël Cohen. "L'invitation" is currently playing throughout France.
