Jay Bird

Born and raised near Boston, Massachusetts, Jay now resides and works in South Florida. Jay began acting at a young age performing in plays such as West Side Story, Little Shop of Horror and Our Town. He acted along side Raymond Cruz in the 1996 movie "The Substitute" before turning his attention behind the camera. As a writer; in college Jay focused on learning the art of script writing and wrote his first full length feature film during his second year. Upon graduating he worked with many production companies working on commercials, corporate video's and live event production as a Production Assistant, camera operator and then moved into assistant directing and eventually directing. Jay has directed several productions for Sky High Roofing in North Palm Beach Florida and other local businesses throughout South Florida including One Sale A Day a $100+ million dollar company in Miami Beach. Always looking to be philanthropic, Jay began directing video's for the Non Profit Organization "Everglades Wildlife Alliance". And is currently working with Artists Network International (anifilms) and Infinite Abyss Productions on live theatrical trans-media events such as the immensely successful; Theater of Vampires which played to a standing room only crowd at the famous Cinema Paradiso in Fort Lauderdale in 2014. (All proceeds went to breast cancer awareness).
