A New York-based filmmaker who grew up in suburban Chicago and Boston. He graduated form Northwestern University, and has written, directed and edited several short films, including the narratives "Two Roads From Belfast, Maine" and "The Man in the Yellow Cap", as well as "Comic Belief" a documentary portrait of the cartoonist Dan Piraro. Since 2014 he has been working on the feature-length documentary, "What She Said: The Art of Pauline Kael." A late 2017 release is expected.
