Erik Danielsson

The vocalist, composer, and main lyricist of Swedish black metal band Watain, Erik Danielsson found a love for music early in his life when he listened to a tape from The Beatles. His passion for the metal genre began when he attended a Metallica concert at the age of 12. When he was 16, he, along with his bandmates Pelle Forsberg and Håkan Jonsson, founded Watain in response to the lack of passionate black metal bands, and has since toured across the world performing ritualistic live shows over the past few decades.
