Liezel Marie. Liz for short has always had the passion in dance. She absolutely loved learning many new styles and when she was given a knew style, she puts her whole heart into it. She started dancing at the age three training in the styles of ballet, tap, and jazz. She didn't start hip hop not until she turned fifteen and looked deeper into it once she studied more about the culture in college. She co-created her own dance crew and became President of "COSMIC Dance Crew" residing at Cal State Northridge. She also collaborated and is currently alumni of other CSUN Teams such as CSUN Hip hop & Fasmode. She also took the initiative in interning at Los Angeles County High School of the Arts teaching hip hop & nutrition. She graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology in an Option of Dance. She always pushed harder and was always hungry for more when it came to performances so she participated in many community events such as Hip Hop Internationals, Zulu Maniacs Dance Program, Urban Street Jam, World of Dance, Maxt Out, & many more. She has a background working with industry artists that displayed their own work at Carnival: Choreographers Ball, LA Unbound, & Antics, & Burlesque events. She currently teaches her passion of hip hop culture & dance at middle schools, high schools, and currently a faculty member at CSUN. She is also a current performer at Universal studios Hollywood. She has always been open to knew things and always kept smiling for the love she has for the dance community & industry.
