Sinan Akçil

Sinan Akçil is a Turkish composer, singer-songwriter and record producer; famous for his work with Turkish pop singer Izel Çeliköz and Hadise's Eurovision 2009 song for Turkey, called Düm Tek Tek. Sinan Akçil was born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, on 20 May 1981. He is the son of musician Saim Akçil. His career started with Emel Müftüoglu's eighth studio album, called Arabesk. After this album, he started working continuously with Yasar, he also contributed to the albums of such notable artists like Zeynep Cassalini. He became famous when he met Izel Çeliköz and having a musical and personal relationship with her. He also has recently worked with singers such as Ferhat Göçer, Gülben Ergen, Ziynet Sali, Mustafa Sandal, Demet Akalin, Teodora. His Eurovision song Düm Tek Tek took place in 4th place in Eurovision 2009.
