Joey Merlo

Joey Merlo is a graduate of Tisch's Experimental Theater Wing with honors. He is a poet, playwright and actor who has worked all over the world including Greece and Ghana where he completed a documentary on the illegality of homosexuality. Previously Joseph has worked with the Westport Country Playhouse, the Lark Play Development Center and New Georges. He was recently a semi-finalist for the Eugene O'Neill National Playwrights Conference. Currently he is the host of Sirens Den, a showcase for young artists while continuing to workshop his plays, Love of Men Ferocious, This Boy Cometh to The Mountain and The Witch of St. Elmora Street.
