Heaven Michelle McCoy

HEAVEN MICHELLE MCCOY was five years old, when she started acting. Now fourteen year old, she has been putting a significant amount of time and effort into her craft. She welcomes and values each and every opportunity to perform. For her portrayal of Raynell in FENCES, Heaven was fortunate to be nominated for a 2016 Perry Award for Outstanding Youth Actress in a Play. Furthermore, she was cast as Kid Denise in the MASTER OF NONE episode "Thanksgiving," which received a 2017 Emmy nomination. She has appeared in several films and television shows such as DESUS & MERO and RAY DONOVAN on Showtime, Marvel's LUKE CAGE on Netflix, a SESAME STREET commercial, Dejah in EXPECTATIONS (fka MAINTAIN), Nevaeh in THE RING, Ronnie in OUR WAY TO FALL, and Terry in OTHERS "TERRY." HEAVEN appears as a hologram in the THE LEGACY MUSEUM: FROM ENSLAVEMENT TO MASS INCARCERATION, a project of the Equal Justice Initiative, which opened in Montgomery, Alabama in April 2018. Heaven studied dance at THE AILEY SCHOOL and was given the opportunity to be one of the select few students chosen to perform with the ALVIN AILEY AMERICAN DANCE THEATRE at the 2017 Spirit Gala in their renowned piece "REVELATIONS" at Lincoln Center in New York. At the moment, she is a voice, musical theater, and dance as a merit scholarship prep- student at HARLEM SCHOOL OF THE ARTS and had the privilege of performing at RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL in the first black and brown kickline with THE HARLEMETTES.
