Lee Champion is an Australian Actor, Writer and Director. Born in Tasmania, Australia, Lee is known for his major role in Channel 31's Australian Sports Comedy/Drama, 'Windscreen Watch', as well as a strong supporting role in the War/Fantasy Feature Film, 'A Little Resistance', produced by Phototropic Films, and recent minor roles in major productions such as 'Childhood's End ( Syfy), 'Wrong Kind of Black (Princess Pictures/ABC iView) & 'The Beautiful Lie' (Southern Star Entertainment) with a plethora of Short Films, Theatre and Commercials to compliment. Lee has continued to work continually and extensively within the Entertainment industry across all platforms ranging from Film, Television, Theatre, and Commerical. With an extensive training background behind him, ranging from both traditional and modern methods, Lee has amassed a range of tools that have helped him further his understanding and ability within the world of Acting, Writing and Directing. At 16th Street Actors Studio in Elsternwick, Melbourne. Lee studied extensively under the detailed and watchful eyes of Kim Krejus (Managing Director of16th Street), Bronwen Coleman (Strasberg Technique), Justin Lehmann (Meisner Technique), Anthony Wong (Chubbuck), Penny McDonald (Alexander Technique), Rob Meldrum, Alkinos Tslimidos & Jason Raftopoulos. Lee also had the opportunity to train with industry great Elizabeth Kemp (Actors Studio NYC) in two of her profound masterclasses, as well as Carl Ford (Susan Batson Studio). in his two-day intensive masterclass. Shortly after graduating in June of 2016, Lee continued to work with Justin Lehmann extensively, focusing on the Meisner Technique - before successfully securing Australian representation, auditioning, and meeting with various Australian contacts and industry representatives. In 2015 Lee worked alongside some of the great acting teachers, from Alkinos Tsilimidis where he played the part of Danny in John Patrick Shanley's "Danny and the Deep Blue Sea", to Kim Krejus (Managing Director of16th Street) where he performed the role of Jeff from Kenneth Lonergan's "Lobby Hero". Lee has also worked with New York acting coach and writer/actor/director Carl Ford. Lee has since then has continued to work within the industry, while continuing to apply and further train and enhance his craft.
