Kemmy Moran loved writing from a young age, and began to pursue it in earnest when she attended the Archer School for Girls in Los Angeles, California. While studying entertainment law at Pepperdine School of Law, Kemmy wrote in her free time and attended screenwriting classes and seminars. Her second screenplay placed in several prestigious screenwriting competitions, including the Academy's Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting Competition. After graduating, Kemmy decided to co-found her own production company. Its first production was award-winning series Miss Beverly Hills Ghost, which was Kemmy's directorial debut.
