Ashton Ellis

Ashton Ellis is a photographer and writer based in Los Angeles. She is the daughter of Scott and Holley Ellis, founders and partners of Erwin Brothers, a production company based in Nashville and Los Angeles. Ashton studied film and photography at Fine Arts College Hampstead in London where she was worked with Sony, MTV, The British Fashion Council, and global magazines like Wonderland, FM, and So It Goes as a fashion/music photographer and writer. She got her first break in the film industry apprenticing under notable stills photographer Alan Markfield (X-Men 2014,2016) on the feature film Woodlawn (2015). Her short film Sticky Note (2016) won Final Selection Distinction at the Sidewalk Film Festival. She was assistant to Joshua Walsh (President, Kingdom Story Company) on I Still Believe (2020), a feature film in partnership with Lionsgate.
