Lindsey Marie Johnston, born and raised in Missouri, expressed an early interest in arts and entertainment. She eagerly joined in various singing and instrumental projects throughout school, and eventually became involved in Drama during her senior year. Within her drama course, Lindsey was given a supporting role in their yearly production. Lindsey considered attending a performing arts institute but ended up moving to Cape Girardeau, Missouri and pursuing a degree in Psychology at Southeast Missouri State University. During her time at SEMO, Lindsey occasionally took to the stage singing with friends at campus and community events. Lindsey credits the filming of David Fincher's "Gone Girl" in her community as a turning point in her life. Though she did not make it into the film, Lindsey learned a great deal through spending many days (and late nights) on the set. Lindsey feels fortunate to have met David Fincher and to have learned about his method of directing. These experiences have rekindled Lindsey's interest in acting, which has lead to appearances in STIHL's Spring 2015 advertisement and Director Dan Steadman's film "Love Chronicles (of the Cape)". In the film, Lindsey was cast "Jerry Anne Mayers" a member of a local Christian singles group entitled "S.W.A.T" (Singles With A Testimony). Lindsey's character also appeared in a flashback scene later in the movie. Through her involvement in "Love Chronicles (of the Cape)" Lindsey has appeared in video clips, photos, and an interview for Southeast Missouri State University's student run newspaper. Lindsey plans to make an appearance at the Spring 2015 premier of the film, and is looking forward to her next project.
