Søren Schneider

Søren Schneider is a film editor and director from Denmark, currently residing in Berlin, Germany. As he grew up watching horror films and skateboarding videos on VHS tapes, he soon had a big interest in films and filmmaking. He studied both Basic - and Masterclass as director and screenwriter at the Potemkin Film School in Aarhus, Denmark. Afterwards he was selected as one of the very first students at Multiplatform Storytelling and Production, a film school focusing on short and contemporary media formats, also in Aarhus, Denmark. As part of this bachelors degree, he did an internship at Profile Pictures in Copenhagen, Denmark, where he assisted on the production of Underverden (2017), I Blodet (2016) and 3 Ting (2017). Upon finalising his studies he started working as a freelancer in the film industry, working on films such as Så Længe Jeg Lever (2018), Sikke et cirkus: Det mystiske mysterium (2017) and The Fabric (2018). Since 2018 he has lived in the German capital, Berlin, where he works as a freelance film editor and director.
