Born in Newport Beach, CA, Austin Light studied at Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, graduating in May of 2017. While in college, Austin wrote and directed the single-sequence short film, "Caroline," in 2015. During his last year of school, he co-wrote and directed the short film, "Trigger," which was accepted into the Marina del Rey Film Festival, screening in October of 2017. Austin also has experience in the sound department, working as a production sound mixer, boom operator, Foley artist, post production sound mixer, effects editor, and sound designer on a number of projects during his time at Chapman. He is certified as a Pro Tools user.
