Jeffrey Bussolini

Jeffrey Bussolini was born in San Luis Obispo, California, and grew up in Los Alamos, New Mexico (and partly in San Zeno di Montagna, Italy). His parents are Lee Oakes Bussolini and Peter Bussolini. He studied at the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, the City University of New York Graduate Center, the Sorbonne, and the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales. Jeffrey studies feline and human social interactions and the social history of nuclear technology. He is the co-director of the Center for Feline Studies and the Avenue B Multi-Studies Center. The Center for Feline Studies uses non-invasive etho-ethnographic methods to study feline interactions. He is also a translator of French and Italian. Jeffrey is an associate professor at the City University of New York. VICE Media contacted Jeffrey for background research and on-screen interviews for Lil Bub and Friendz. He attended much of the filming and is happy to know Bub and Mike as well as the crew at VICE.
