He turned professional in 2007, the same year he was awarded WSL 'Rookie of the Year'. He went on to won four Championship Surf Tour victories include a historic win at home at the Quiksilver Pro France (2019), a pair of Pipe Masters (2010, 2017) and the Billabong Pro Teahupo'o (2015), three of the world's most iconic waves. He qualified for Olympic Games at Tokyo 2020. He finished 9th overall as surfing made its debut for the first time. Other highlights included winning the WSL European Tour 2005(Juniors) & 2013(Men's) & ISA World Surf Games 2009(Men's),2017(Team France.
