Tom Edwards

Tom Edwards is a British-Chinese director, producer & filmmaker, born on July 15th, 1995, in St. Albans, England. Tom was raised in Southampton until moving to Shanghai, China in 2005. As a self-taught filmmaker, his first narrative film "Ninety One" that he solely wrote, produced, directed, shot and edited was awarded the "Best Overall Film", "Best IB Film", and "Best Actor", at the Shanghai Student Film Festival in 2013 - Kevin Wilson being one of the judges; known for his #1 Super Bowl Commercial - "Sling Baby" as the 'Most Liked' & 'Most Memorable' in 2012. Ambitious to follow his passion for filmmaking, Tom pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Filmmaking at the New York Film Academy where his thesis film, "Money Shot", was screened at the Warner Brothers Studio in Burbank. Having graduated in Sept 2016, Tom has worked freelance alongside notable production companies including; AZ Films Studios, Transparency Agency, Interior Pixels & 2 Wolves Films for both commercial production and behind the scenes content. Tom has shot BTS for major Latin artists including Enrique Iglesias, Joey Montana & Sebastian Yatra In July 2017, Tom also had the opportunity to work with Darren Bousman (Director and Producer, known for Saw II (2005), Saw III (2006) and Saw IV (2007) as a camera operator for music video "RGK & Sabrina Kern: Alone Land (2017) Relentless to hone his craft, Tom continues his journey as a director & producer in Los Angeles.
