Harvey Lisberg is an impresario, now living in California U.S.A. but originally from Manchester U.K. He got his first break at the age of 23 when he discovered Hermans Hermits who he agreed to manage. He signed the band to Mickie Most's RAK label who produced their massive hit "I'm Into Something Good". For the duration of the 1960's the band enjoyed much success in the U.S.A. and then in the U.K. and were major part of the British Invasion along with The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and others. His next signing was songwriter, Graham Gouldman, also from Manchester U.K., who wrote hit songs such as For Your Love, Bus Stop, Heart Full of Soul, and many others. In the 1970's Gouldman co-founded "10cc" who enjoyed international smash hits such as I'm Not In Love, The Things We Do For Love and Dreadlock Holiday. Lisberg managed 10cc until the band finally broke-up in the 1990's. In the 1980's Lisberg turned his hand to sports management and signed up Jimmy White, an up-and-coming talent in the Snooker world. By this time 10cc had broken up but Lisberg oversaw the pairing of Gouldman with Andrew Gold to form Wax who had some success in the U.S. and the U.K. In the 1990's Lisberg relocated to Palm Springs in the U.S. By the turn of the millennium he was consulting to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden where he spotted the opportunity to use their state of the art arena to host music events, and brought international acts such as The Who and The Eagles and others to the Desert for the first time.
