Serena Jayde

In and around the entertainment industry for over 8 years, Serena (pronounced Ser-renn-ah) Jayde cannot imagine life without creativity. Growing up, her parents gave her permission to dream and dream she did. After trying the 9-5 work thing for a number of years in an attempt to gain financial stability (pushing her creativity to the side), SJ gave up the normal work thing and began pursuing a career doing what she loved. Of all the projects and jobs she's been involved in creatively, she has gained the most satisfaction from her storytelling ventures. Having written and directed a number of short films in 2015 including festival accepted "A Life Unwanted" and "State of Mind", as well as currently filming her first feature film - "She Spoke Softly" - SJ is reaching for the stars. Other feature films written or co-written and directed by SJ, and slated for 2015/16 include: The Other Side of Terror, Dreamer, Fire & Under The Influence 2015 is the year for SJ to make her mark as she seeks to establish herself within the international filmmaking community to do what she loves and maybe, just maybe, make a living doing it!
