Born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico to Puerto Rican parents. Mother, Maria Archilla and Father (deceased) Jose Archilla. Jason Archilla began his martial arts journey at the age of 13 boxing and wrestling in Columbus, Georgia. Winning the "Fight of the Night" award in his first amateur bout. At the age of 18, he joined the US Air Force as a Security Forces member, where he was deployed to Balad, Iraq for seven months. Jason started training Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiujitsu and Karate at the Dojo Karate Academy in San Antonio, TX under Sensei Greg Borrego. In 2012 he moved to Thailand where he lived there for seven years, to train Muay Thai under Grand Master Toddy. Where he was awarded the rank of KRU (Teacher) under The Muay Thai International Association and Thailand's Ministry of Education. He continued he Muay Thai journey under the Sor Thanikul camp under Kru Saming Noi. While at Sor Thanikul he competed professionally and fought in Buri Ram, Thailand and at Ragsit Stadium winning both of his bouts. While in Thailand, Jason trained Brazilian Jiujitsu under American Top Team Black Belt Adam Kayoom, and Black Belt Mamoru Kashikura. Jason was sponsored by Tiger Muay Thai in Phuket, Thailand for his MMA professional debut. Jason has train BJJ regularly with some notable Black Belt like Clark Gracie (Clark Gracie Jiujitsu), Henry Chan (Gracie Barra Hong Kong), Adam Kayoom (Q23/American Top Team Bangkok), Cristiano Kaminishi (8x All Japan BJJ Champion) and Mamoru Kashikura.
