Jessica Li was born on April 3rd, 1998 in Melbourne, Australia. She began acting when she was seventeen, working closely with actor and tutor Shane Savage at the esteemed Howard Fine Acting Studio. Jessica paused her acting training to complete her Bachelor of Film and Television at Swinburne University of Technology which she graduated from in 2019. Jessica works extensively behind the camera, garnering credits in a myriad of departments while being most devoted to acting, writing, directing, casting, producing and performance coaching. Her most notable work includes her portrayal of Ingrid in Flunk, the 2018 web-series directed by Ric Forster which has amassed more than 4 million views per episode and over 150,000 online subscribers, and Mother Tongue, the 2020 short film she wrote and directed. Mother Tongue was chosen for the official selections of Mosaic World Film Festival in the US and Aesthetica, a BAFTA qualifying festival in the UK, and continues its festival run.
