Corey's writing includes historical hybrid literature in books and screenwriting. She also writes and produces documentaries, feature films, and TV series focusing on history and true stories. After studying and learning how to break down scripts from production managers, and stunt performers who worked for Steven Spielberg and Jerry Bruckheimer, she began teaching writing for production at Atlanta Writing, where she emerged as a literary coach for screenwriting. With her experience as a public-school teacher, associate professor at the University of Denver (masters in Sport Sciences) and coach at the Olympic Training Center, she began ghostwriting for retired athletes in the NFL and NBA. With a desire to understand the legalities of writing and production, she earned a masters from Duquesne University in Law and Paralegal Studies. Her current writing concentrates on World War II and the Holocaust, the history of racial disparity, Cybernetics, science, and history. Corey also adapted several book-to-film projects and a few famous sports stories for film in Atlanta (2023). Her memoir, Player, is the story of a Mrs. Maisel-type suburban mom who winds up in trouble after her first Internet search in 1997. Her second book, co-authored with a retired NFL athlete, is a nonfiction hybrid of history, Cybernetics, and Emotional Intelligence titled Beyond Race: What's Myth? What's Real? And What to Do About It? Corey, along with Leonard Wheeler and Dale Davis, are the founders of The Human Diversity Project, a charity project to develop meaningful media for audiences and readers. Corey's platform of projects grows daily, and after being saved by a kidney transplant, she is enthusiastic about being a game changer for as many people as are willing.
