Christina Xing is an award-winning filmmaker from Birmingham, Alabama. She has been featured on Refinery 29, the Manhattan Neighborhood Network, AL.com and many more platforms for her film work. Additionally, at the age of fifteen, she held a summer internship position in the production department at Alabama Public Television as an editor, being the youngest intern they have ever had. At the age of sixteen, she began working with several esteemed local musicians in Birmingham, Alabama. Creating unique concepts and music videos for them. Most recently, she toured with musician, The Lie Within Callie and created her promotional videos. She also shot a live music video for Riverbend at the 2017 Sloss Music and Arts Festival. At the age of seventeen she finished directing her first funded short film, Goldfish which won 'Best Dramatic Film' at the All American High School Film Festival. It was also finalist for the Best Director, Female Rising Filmmaker, Best Overall Picture and featured as Best of Fest in the festival. Additionally, the film has continued to win the grand jury prize at Austin Student Film Fest for 'Best Picture'. It also won 'Best Actor'. Her films have been screened in several acclaimed festivals all around the world, such as: Dances With Films at the TLC Chinese Theaters, Michael Moore's: Traverse City Film Festival, The All American High School Film Festival, Sidewalk Film Festival and many more. In addition to her previous experience as a Motion Picture Arts major at Interlochen Arts Academy, she is currently studying the 'Directing Track' with many more industry professionals at ArtCenter.
