Elaine Carmody

Elaine is the current studio manager and producer for Genetic Code Pictures alongside Waymon Boone; owner and director of the GCP studio. The Prime Studios team met Elaine while filming the Mitsubishi Regional Jet VR experience that was displayed at the Paris Airshow 2017 Elaine lent a hand to the MRJ shoot and was soon producing all of the filming segments for Prime's project roster. Recently, she joined the Prime team in more of a full time capacity and has also incorporated Prime Studios VFX services into GCP's studio offerings. Elaine moved to Los Angeles from San Francisco with her dog Lulu in 2013 to work at Genetic Code Pictures. Her original background in the hospitality industry created a skill set that was easily applied to film and TV. She quickly advanced from an assistant, to studio manager and soon found herself in the roll of producer. With an eye for detail, Elaine is passionate about filmmaking, enjoys working in a creative capacity as well as bringing all the pieces together for a successful production. Having a desire to serve her film making community, she volunteered as the hospitality director and celebrity liaison for the Catalina Film Festival 2014-2015 which is held on the island of Catalina. In addition to her comprehensive list of productions and events, she continues to serve on the advisory board for the Catalina Film Institute.
