Jerry May Biography Jerry May was born in Buffalo, NY. At the age of 7, he was introduce to a JVC/ VHS video camera in which his aunt had Purchased for the purpose of video recording their gospel group (The Gospel Stars). He quickly became the groups only and main camera man in which he was fascinate how the camera could capture moving image's. May came from an artistic musical background; his father was a jazz/R&B musician, and his mother, a gospel singer. He attended Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts High School where he enhanced his movie making skills, whereas he was quickly award " The Most Creative" and a diploma in his major TV& Radio Telecommunication (1996). He also was the director of photography as well, over seeing productions sound for a number of in house plays at the Performing Arts high school. He attended ITT Technical Institute in Getzville, NY where he successfully completed the program of Electronic Technology and an Associate Of Occupational Studies Degree (2001). Some of his inspirational directors and filmmakers include Spike Lee, Clint Eastwood, Mel Gisbson, Denzel Washington and Steven Spielburg. In 2001, Jerry May decided to go all in and presume his dream of being a filmmaker. With his weekly earnings from working as a production worker for General Mills in Buffalo, NY. He quickly went on and begin purchasing his own production equipment. Soon after, he started his own film production company called Snapthat Entertainment and Another Jerry May Production. After having some experience in producing music videos, he decided that he was now ready to take the challenge's and responsible of producing a feature film. After writing his first feature film, he then seek out to casting for the project. In 2011, Jerry May and family of Three, relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to advance his career as a filmmaker. He has be involved in different independent film projects, working as a Director of photography, Writer, Producer and Editor, as well as working with a few celebrity musical singers and groups. 2014, May Directed his 1st full feature film called "Jimmy Did you get one" in which tells the story of an undistributed family whom find kidnapping and punishment a discipline for revenge. Jerry May seeks to find success in becoming a well know Director and Film Maker.
