Ivonne Garcia

Ivonne Garcia is an actress who was born in Ecuador. In 1994, she started her training in ballet and contemporary dance in Compania Nacional de Danza del Ecuador (CNDE). Some years later, she became a cast member of a theater company directed by Leon Prado. In this company she learned different acting techniques such as the Stanislavsky and Grotowski Methods. For many years she had tours around the country with Prado's Company. In 2000, she was part of the Tateli Theater Group directed by Fausto Caamano where she was part of the cast of many shows. In 2013 the New York Film Academy, a College of Visual and Performing Arts, made auditions in South America. Ivonne attended one in Quito, Ecuador, and got a Talented Based Scholarship. She moved to Los Angeles to study and earned her MFA in Acting for Film and TV in May, 2015. During her artistic career, Ivonne has performed in several theater plays, contemporary and classic, and short-films.
