Frank Vera Jiménez was born in Guayaquil-Ecuador. He studied at the University of the Arts and graduated as a film degree with a focus on film director. He is the director, writer and editor of various short films (fiction and documentary). Some of his works has been selected for very important festivals, like Vancouver International Film Festival, Oaxaca Filmfest, Mumbai Shorts International Film Festival, La orquídea Cuenca and International Film Festival "EDOC".
