DeMario Rio Jones

DeMario "Rio" Jones was born on August 24, 1988 in Atlanta, Georgia. He developed a love for acting at a young age. He was always entertaining classmates at school, and putting on shows for family at home. DeMario got his first taste of the movie business when he was 7 years old. RoboCop 3 was filming on the street in front of his Grandmother's restaurant. During the week of filming, he befriended the crew and was given the opportunity to make a "cameo" appearance. That Christmas he asked for a video camera, and used it to make movies that he wrote, directed, filmed, and starred in. In 2008, with the support of his fiancé, DeMario decided to quit his day job and pursue acting full time. He put all of his time and effort into learning all he could about his craft. He took several acting classes in Atlanta. He starred in several community plays. DeMario paid his dues, and worked as an extra on many films and T.V. show. After a few months, he landed a starring role in the short film, The Prodigal Son. DeMario lives in Atlanta with his wife and daughter. He is a devoted family man and active member of his community. He continues to work hard and pursues his dream everyday.
