Born Steven Taylor Mechlinski in Attleboro, Massachusetts. He is the son of Steven Mechlinski and Patricia Mechlinski. He is the first born of three children. Taylor studied martial arts from an early age and stage combat in his college years in Connecticut, CT. While studying criminal justice and sociology, Taylor became interested in drama and the fine arts and started taking classes. Moving to Los Angeles, Taylor got involved in the improv and acting community performing regularly around Los Angeles.
