Cecilia Maricel Eulisse

Cecilia was born in Milan, Italy, granddaughter of the venetian artist Vincenzo Eulisse, she grows up surrounded by Art. She debuted at the age of six in the music video of the Italian group "Quartiere Latino" and shortly as testimonial for UNICEF, in the campaign for the protection of the rights for childhood. At age of ten, she got the main role in a commercial for EMI Music in which also makes the vocal dubbing. She approaches to the theater from the young age at the school of Music & Art: "Vivaio" where she also studied singing, voice and piano. At the age of fourteen After her debut in theater with the role of Constance in a performance of "Life of Galileo", based on the book by B.Brecht, she is noticed and then chosen as the teenager presenter of a television program's zero episode. Since then, she appears in several advertisements. In 2006 she started her acting studies at the New York Film Academy, in Florence, approaching for the first time the Strasberg Method, and at the age of eighteen arrive the first leading role in the movie "Follow the water", shot in Venice and entirely based on introspection and emotional expression without dialogue. The emotional effects of this character, pushes her to deepen the Stanislavsky and Strasberg method, and in 2008 she enters the "Duse International" Film Acting School directed by Francesca De Sapio, in Rome . 2013 begins with an opening reading and presenting for the exhibition of the master Eulisse at Ca' Pesaro International Gallery, in Venice; the same year she will present the award "A life in film" at the 70th Venice Film Festival edition. 2014 is the year in which she dedicates herself entirely to her passion for art; presented her first personal exhibition at the gallery: "Spazio Extra" of Rome, her work was noticed by one of the organizers of the Biennale MarteLive and she was invited to participate with an installation. From then, a cycle of events will bring her to continue the journey in Art. She is commissioned a VideoArt for the opening of the international event "Senza confine", a historical retrospective of the travel poster of the Euro - Afro - Asian countries, held at the Macro Museum of Rome. The same year, the artist and friend Cristiano Quagliozzi commissioned her an opera for the collective event related to the publication of his book: "Quando gli uomini non avevano le ali". She also prepares a performance with friend and coworker Veronica Baleani for Fandango, winning an award and a scholarship by FUIS (unitary federation Italian authors). Working for Fandango, she also writes the video "L'onda" directed by Lucio Castagneri. Still in 2014 she is protagonist in the Videoclip of the group "Percussion Voyager", but is in 2015 that she comes back to Cinema with the lead role of Giuly, in the film "Horror in Venice" directed by Latino Pellegrini, entirely shoot in English. The same year arrives also the first International project, "Price for freedom", American movie based on the book and real story by Marc Benhuri, about the Islamic revolution of '79, in Iran. She works along movie stars like Paul Sorvino and Navid Negahban playing the role of Young Maheen.
