Anthony Mambré

Born in 1989 in a small town of Franche-Comté, France, Anthony fell in love with cinema when he was just an extra on Jean-Pierre Mocky's movie 'Tout est calme' - he was 10 years-old. Fascinated about storytelling, creating worlds and translating them to images, his creativity and passion never stopped burning into him ever since childhood. At 16, he started writing and shooting a non-professional feature film with a crew of fellow teenagers. This was his first true personal cinematic experience. He graduated from the European film institute I.E.C.A. (Institut Européen de Cinéma et d'Audiovisuel) in 2010, in Nancy, France. He then moved to Paris where he worked as an art director for the international festival of the Nouveaux Cinémas. Since then, he fulfilled several projects, short films and advertisements. Abounding with ideas and creativity, he also has a dozen projects of short and full-length feature films in development. Les toits d'un monde (Top of a world) is his first professional short film. He made two others : The creepy pop and YOU.
