Marie-Lou Nahhas

Marie-Lou Nahhas is an Actress most recently known for her role as Shani Abboud on the last season of Orange Is The New Black. Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Marie-Lou Nahhas moved to the United States to pursue further acting education. In 2012, she was awarded as a top Finalist in Miss Lebanon, leading her to her acting career. Marie-Lou then moved to New York City and crafted her career in the Theatre and on Camera. In 2015, she played on the Hulu Show "The Looming Tower". Bridging her interests in the Healthcare and acting field, she became an activist on topics for women empowerment. Nonetheless, her work seeks a balance between being an eastern woman in the Hollywood and international film industry, she is fluent in Arabic, French, English and Spanish.
