Sheikh Shahnawaz

Sheikh Shahnawaz is a British-Bangladeshi film director, screenwriter & producer born on 26 January, 1995 in Birmingham, England. At 15 years old, Sheikh began making short films for his school projects using the school's video equipment. While studying Media Production at Coventry University he created 2 short films Friend Request and Stalker which have gone on to amass over 1.5 million total views on YouTube. During the making of Stalker, Sheikh used guerrilla filmmaking techniques inspired by Christopher Nolan and Robert Rodriguez. For 2018, Sheikh has been releasing a short film every month to YouTube for his 5000 plus subscribers. Utilising the guerrilla filmmaking techniques used on Stalker to film with no crew and no budget.
