Thibaud Laroche

Getting first involved in filmmaking at the age of 12 when he came across a VHS camera, Thibaud Laroche has since been involved in a great variety of projects. Winning literary prizes during his teen years, he specialized in cinema and communications for his college and university studies. Switching from the art world to the communications one, his wide range of experiences include working on theater plays, setting up film festivals, presenting editing seminars, portrait photography, scriptwriting, camerawork, visual effects, and, of course, filmmaking. He has directed various short films, from fictions to promotional videos, music clips, documentaries or animations, a dozen of which have been nominated or won prizes in festivals. Hence, amongst experiences such as the 2016 Communication Games or freelance contracts, Thibaud invests himself in independent film projects. A Day in Society (2016) is his second middle-length movie after his crowdfunded Anachrony (2014).
