Mikhail Marchenko

Mikhail Marchenko is a composer. He composed music for a number of independent films including Gulag Barashevo, The Long Night Stand, and Internal Affairs. In 2015, Marchenko was recognized and featured for his work as an up-and-coming composer on Listen Local and his cover version of Day One, from the movie Interstellar, was featured on Hans Zimmer's official web site. Born in Russia, Marchenko moved to the United States in 2001 and began his musical career as a lead singer and guitarist in a band The Former.
