Mitchel Kawash is an American theater and film actor. Originally from Charleston, WV, he attended George Washington High School and Yale University, where he received a BA in Theater Studies with Distinction. He then trained for two years at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, better known as LAMDA, earning a postgraduate degree in professional acting. While at Yale, he performed with the world-famous Whiffenpoofs--the planet's oldest collegiate a cappella singing group, made up of 14 senior men from the university annually. During his time with the group, the "Whiffs" traveled across the United States and the world--visiting all 7 continents (including Antarctica!) and performing for President Obama at the White House. Mitchel is an avid sports fan and plays the alto saxophone. He lives in New York City.
