Eyyub Yaqubov is a popular Azerbaijani singer. He is widely known for bringing Baku chanson genre to popularity in 1992. In 1980 he began to study grand piano at Asaf Zeynally Music College in Baku. In 1980s he played part, as a pianist, in "Humayun" national ensemble, under mugham singer Alibaba Mammadov.
