Karam Singh is a director, producer and writer. He studied filmmaking at the University of Toronto and has been working in the Canadian film industry since 2009. He is the Creative Director of Seventy Six Films. In 2016, he was selected to write and direct artist Gular Mustafa's short film, The Monuments of Time. His documentary The Secret Society of Dog, about retired Pittsburgh detective and poet Jimmy Cvetic, premiered at the Andy Warhol Museum in 2016. In 2020, his short film, WTH (What the Hell), a comedy about God and The Devil discussing the COVID19 pandemic, was chosen as the official selection of both the Short Film Factory Festival and Quarantine Film Festival, and received the Quarantine Film Festival's "Best Cinematography" award. Karam is known for his commitment to quality and pushing the boundaries of film-making. As the Chair of the Humber College Media Communications Program, Karam enjoys mentoring up and coming filmmakers.
