Danny Dorland

Born in Helmond 12-27-1997 Danny Dorland has always been fascinated by movies. Every time he watched one as a child all he dreamt of was to once shine on the big screen himself. Having played the drums ever since he was seven years old, years had passed by without him knowing anything about the possibilities within the world of showbusiness and acting. Until he stumbled upon the opportunity to specialize in theatrical arts thanks to a special program during his final years of high school. Since then, Danny has put great effort in all kinds of projects, big and small (such as castings, student films, theatrical plays, singing and television series). After he graduated from high school Danny auditioned for an education in Performing Arts at roc Tilburg Community College. After studying there for a year, Danny decided to quit because he signed with Nickelodeon for a scripted reality show called 'Spotlight'. Meanwhile, this series is already running a successful second season. Recently he has also started following education at faaam's (Film Actors Academy Amsterdam) evening school, class of 2015.
