Sam Grace Miller attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts for high school as a ballet major, and she graduated from Princeton University with a B.A. in Comparative Literature that focused on film theory. In high school, she performed Balanchine's "Rubies," Petipa's "Swan Lake," Merce Cunningham's "Duets," and many other iconic works, as well as began her dedicated acting training. After dancing with the American Repertory Ballet company in NJ her junior year of college, Sam began focusing on acting in films and continued acting in theatrical productions in NYC. Simultaneously, a summer internship at the National Geographic Channel was her introduction to production. Upon moving to Los Angeles after graduation, Sam acted full-time, booking commercials, hosting jobs, print, and theatrical work. She has shot for brands such as Athleta, Pizza Hut, and Buick, and has starred in a range of short films and serialized shows. In the past year, Sam has starred in the action series "Shifter," played Mary Higgins opposite Madeline Carroll and Denise Richards in "Destined to Ride," and most notably, she is the host of crime show, "True Crime: Uncovered," on Snapchat. The show is produced by Conde Nast Entertainment, and Seasons 1 and 2, as well as TNT's special edition historical episode that was part of the PR for "I Am the Night," are all on Snapchat now. Additionally, Sam is a writer and recently became the CEO of her own production company, "Shoots and Ladders," which she builds when she is not on set. She has studied acting at HB Studios and with Howard Fine, and Sam is a student at the Groundlings school.
