Stefen Welch

Stefen Salvatore Consolatti Welch was born January 18, 1994 in Springfield, MA, to parents Carla Grimaldi and Kerry Welch. Shortly after the couple welcomed a second son Samuel Francis Consolatti Welch. Both his parents were involved in the Fitness Center of The YMCA of Greater Springfield. As time goes on the couple realized they were in fact better friends than spouses. Both remain incredibly involved in their children's lives and very good friends. At a young age Stefen was mesmerized by movies. His father Kerry started him off on the right path showing him all the great tales he grew up watching like, Planet of the apes, Batman, Godzilla, The Terminator, Heat , Predator, Stand by me, Billy Jack. The idea that he could be in or even make these kinds of things sat with me often. Carla never stopped encouraging him to chase his dreams, never once saying you'll never make it or you'll go in debt before you learn anything. She always supported Stefen in his endeavors. His mother remarried a man named Frank Grimaldi and soon Star wars and James Bond became part of his film diet. Finally a camera was given to him and thats when it all happened. His brother Sam and him would use toys to bring their ideas to life. As he got older his films improved. He involved more family members and friends, Hollywood was coming to his backyard. To this day he and his crew of family members and friends make movie magic.
