Nicholas Freeman was born in Baltimore, Maryland. Born from Native Indian-African American lineage, His parents both worked in college professions. His mother, working as a business manager for the Fine Arts department at University of Maryland Baltimore County. His father, the Director of Maintenance at Howard Community College. Excelling as a high school basketball he found his way on a junior college basketball team (HCC). His career ended after he transferred to Frostburg State University in the Western Appalachian mountains. There he joined the fraternity Omega Epsilon, where he threw house parties to earn money for college expenses and rent. One of his famous basement parties was raided by the local police department and landlord. After graduating with a Bachelors degree in Psychology, he moved to Washington D.C where he served as an Armed Diplomatic Security Officer at the Department of State, during the tenure of Hilary Clinton. Nicholas was approached during his workout and hired as a print model for lifestyle ad in National Harbor (DC). From there he recognized the opportunity and fled to Los Angeles at 25 years old. Since arriving in Los Angeles in 2012, he has performed as the lead for Aijia Li's "Short term" film, featured in ads by Guess, Dockers, Toyota, Feiyue, and released a Lo-fi hip hop album "Short Stories" under the alias "Nicky Free". He is also a Medicinal Cannabis Entrepreneur and Owner for a healing salve company made with CBD and medical cannabis.
