Matthew Callari was born on September 8th at St. Peter's Medical Center in New Brunswick, New Jersey to Jim and Marylou. Starting at a young age, Matthew became interested in sports and performing. By the time he was a teenager, Matthew was juggling sports, theater, and was even the lead singer in a local New Jersey rock band, which played several shows in the world-famous Stone Pony in Asbury Park. Upon graduating high school with more than 10 plays under his belt, Matthew relocated to West Hollywood, CA in 2013 to seek formal acting training by enrolling in the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, following in the footsteps of the actors he admired, such as Dustin Hoffman, Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and Paul Newman. Since his arrival to the West Coast, Matthew has performed in several productions both on stage and on camera, including "Revolution" and the '40s-'50s Brooklyn period piece "Jews Without Money."
