Artie Shase was born in Fremont, California to an aircraft engineer and a stay-at-home mother. Fascinated by movies at an early age, Artie would believe films were undoubtedly real. At 18, he decided to finally be a part of the truth he witnessed on screen. He was trained at The Meisner Technique Studio in San Francisco by Sanford Meisner's last teaching protégé , Jim Jarrett, along with teacher, Melissa Thompson Esaia. Upon graduation, he immediately began working on films, earning him high praise and acclamations. He was awarded Best Actor in portraying the role of James in the short, "Repressive Fire", a soldier who battles with severe PTSD. Artie currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
