Sàfara Millett

Sàfara Millett was born in the West Indies on a Caribbean island called Trinidad. Her full birth name is Akeela Sàfara Millett. Sàfara grew up in Sinanan Gardens, Santa Cruz, Trinidad and Tobago. She is the last daughter of a businesswoman and one of Trinidad's most notable historians/journalists. Growing up she impersonated her favorite cartoon characters and sung a lot. Shortly after her twelfth birthday - her father, mother, sister and her moved to New York. Where she spent her teen years, growing up in Brooklyn, NY. While still in high school, she played an extra in a feature film called Fighting. Soon after, Sàfara began to model for fashion and art. To this day she still continues to act. But focuses mainly on her love for arthouse, a market she fell in love with hard in her teens.
