Sanjay Raja

Sanjay S Raja was born in Bombay, India. He was raised in an east-Indian family and he grew up living in various states in the US and traveled the world many times over as experiencing different cultures was an important part of his family upbringing. He began his career in the fields of IT and later transitioned to the medical field and then became an entrepreneur. He always wanted to try acting and was discovered by a commercial agent in 2014. He started his acting career in late 2014 doing small commercial and short film roles and got his first major role in 2015 as a recurring character on the popular Netflix show House of Cards. He then landed more roles in lager commercials, various TV shows and he landed a role in 2017 in his first feature film set to release in theaters in late 2019. He has trained with acting coaches in New York, Los Angeles, and Atlanta and continues to develop his craft as he has auditioned for roles as a series regular on a number of popular shows and larger roles in various feature films. In addition Sanjay speaks multiple languages, is an accomplished martial artist with multiple black belts, experience as an MMA fighter, a published author, national speaker, has done a number of unscripted projects as a host, and is a producer as he is in early stages of development of a TV show based around his book.
