Imani Lasenby

Vocal Range: Soprano/Mezzo Soprano/Alto Born in Royal Oak, MI, Chicago Actress Imani Lasenby has been performing for local audiences for the last seven years. She has won several acting awards including a "Best Actor" prize for her portrayal of Alexandra in the play "I Dont't Mind That You're Ugly". Amongst her favorite roles: Taylor in High School Musical, Little Inez in Hair Spray and Miss One in the Wiz. Imani Lasenby was featured in the film "Hope the Musical" and is happy to be returning to the film work, having previously been seen in "Step off the Block" and "Ultimate Zombie Movie". Imani Lasenby takes voice classes Aleksandra Moody's Music School in Harvey, IL and Dance lessons at Studio One dance Academy to further hone her skills. In addition to music and dance classes, Imani is a regular ensemble cast member of Stacey De Acting Academy and starred the Academy's production of High School Musical, and Peter Pan.
