Mateo Velasquez

Mateo Velasquez was born and raised in Harlem in New York City to parents from Honduras, Central America. He started in the entertainment field as a dancer who worked in music videos and live performances like with Rihanna at the MTV VMAS. He branched off to background acting roles on HBO's "Flight Of The Conchords," "Saturday Night Live" and other shows until he was booked for his first speaking role on NBC's "Law & Order."
